WHAT do I get as a member?

* 4 high-quality issues per annum of the Branch Newsletter with articles and information of a local nature, including details of forthcoming events in the UK.

* 3 high-quality issues per annum of the International magazine , "Band International", edited by Major Gordon Turner MBA, BA, a leading authority on military music. It includes articles on aspects of music from all over the world, biographies of composers as well as recording and book reviews.

* Quarterly meetings on Saturday afternoons at the Royal Military School of Music, Kneller Hall, with guest speakers.

* Regional meetings and band visits in your part of the Country.

* Visits to bands and similar organisations with the opportunity to attend rehearsals. Regulars are the Queen's Birthday Parade, the Sovereign's Parade at Sandhurst and the Founders' Day Parade at the Royal Hospital, Chelsea.

* Discounted prices for commercial recordings as well as access, via the Editor, to out-of-print recordings and publications.

* Occasional overseas tours. Recent tours have included
Breda Tattoo, Netherlands;
Saumur Military Music Festival, France;
Modena Military Music Festival, Italy.

WHAT does it cost?

Annual membership subscription for UK addresses is £19.00, preferrably paid by standing order.

For non-UK addresses, please contact the Secretary or Treasurer. [There may be a branch in your Country, or you can join the UK branch, but the subscription will be higher to cover additional postage charges.]
