Saturday 18 September
Quarterly IMMS meeting at The Royal Military School of Music, Kneller Hall; speaker: Tim Marshall, Producer of the RBL Festival of Remembrance.
7:30pm that evening : "Scarlet and Gold" A Concert by the massed bands of the Household Division, Royal Albert Hall.

Thursday 30 September
A Branch visit has been arranged to the Band of the Royal Electrical and Mechanical Engineers (Director of Music: Captain Richard Watterson) at Rowcroft Barracks, Arborfield, Reading RG2 9NL ; members should arrive from 10 00 and the visit will include lunch. Please let Jim Davies (see Contacts page) know if you would like to attend (a stamped, addressed envelope for reply would be immensely helpful).

Thursday 7 October
It is hoped that the visit to the Band of Her Majesty’s Royal Marines, Scotland, at HMS Caledonia, Rosyth, Fife KY11 2XT, will take place.
Because of the location of HMS Caledonia I imagine most members will wish to stay overnight Wednesday and Thursday, 6 and 7 October, in the vicinity of the base. The Hotel Cochran has been recommended as being ideally located for this purpose. It would be helpful if all those who would like to join this visit would confirm their interest to Jim Davies(see Contacts page), preferably by post with a stamped addressed envelope, whether or not they were registered for the original date in April.

Tuesday 12 October
Provisionally, and subject to confirmation, a Memorial Service for the late Lt.-Col. Trevor Sharpe OBE will take place at The Guards Chapel, Wellington Barracks on the afternoon of Tuesday 12 October. Arrangements have yet to be finalised; further information will be available in due course from the Coldstream Guards band office, 020 7414 3269.

Thursday 14 October
IMMS UK Branch President Lt. Col. (retd) Geoff Kingston will present a talk at the National Army Museum, Chelsea. 12:30pm
